Long story short, I rode my friend's Street Glide with 12" Factory 47 ape hangers and I loved the position of the bars. I would like to have a similar bar position on my Thunderbird Storm. Preferably, it would be a "moto" or "MX T" bar style setup like you see on some Dyna's. There seems to be a lack of bar and riser options for our bikes, and I'm hoping someone will have some information on sourcing bars and risers for a similar setup.

You will find that anything that can be done to our bikes is here, someone has done it and posted about it, the forum started even before the Tbirds were released. It just takes patience with the search engine or picking the correct area on the main page and scrolling Titles. Enjoy!

Here's my 2cents after a good deal of research: Link
Had to replace grips, lengthen brake line and braze a fitting (no ABS), but result was well worth the trouble.
